Do you always say YES? It’s time to say NO! many project mangers intentionally play this role of a doormat, they mistakenly think it would make them successful or at least get seen as obedient and trying to always please each and every stakeholder, being a doormat destroys the professional image of the project manager it also exhibits some stereotypes of project failure

Yesterday I had a very interesting brief discussion with PMOT (project managers on Twitter), we were discussing how a lot of people are shifting their careers to project management and how some people who are not qualified to be project managers are really distorting the image of good ones, some PMOT said that most of today’s PMs are average ones and others found no issue at all, for me I have different view point, in this post I will reply to the discussion that we had on Twitter.

Are you quite happy with the email software you use? maybe you are, but I am not! Having used different applications for email I found most of them lack the intelligence to help me communicate efficiently and effectively, I am currently using Microsoft Office Outlook, and though it satisfies most of my needs, I think it needs major improvements so as are other Email applications, In this post I will propose some thoughts about the future of email software as I dream of it and will elaborate on the way email software should consider the emotional aspect of communication which cannot be igonred.
